Carmen Oliver is the Assistant Regional Adviser for the
Austin Chapter of the
Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators. Born in
Manitoba, Canada, she lived for a while in Calgary before moving to Austin. She has published numerous nonfiction
articles for both adults and children.
